President Joe Biden, in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighted the need to maintain a “continuous flow” of humanitarian aid to Gaza, the White House said Monday.
Biden also “welcomed the release of two more Gaza hostages… and reaffirmed his commitment to continued efforts to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas,” the White House said in a statement.
He also briefed the prime minister on “U.S. support for Israel and ongoing regional deterrence efforts, including new U.S. military deployments,” the White House said.
