Senate hearings on aid to Israel involving Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin were repeatedly disrupted by protesters condemning US policies toward Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
At the beginning of the hearing, a line of protesters raised their red-painted hands in the air to protest the war.
Capitol Police later removed them from the hearing room.
Protesters shouted slogans including “Cease fire now!” and “Protect the children of Gaza!”
