WASHINGTON-
U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria have been attacked with drones or missiles at least 24 times in recent days, including at least three attacks on Monday, U.S. defense officials said.
At least five of those strikes came after US forces struck two targets in eastern Syria on Friday night.
The facilities were used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and affiliated groups.
None of the strikes since the U.S. retaliatory strikes on Friday caused any casualties or damage, Pentagon officials said.
The latest attack was a missile attack on the Al-Asad air base in western Iraq, a Pentagon official said Monday on condition of anonymity.
Other missile attacks targeted the Green Village base and the Euphrates Mission Support Base in Syria.
